By accessing or using the Lower Light website, products, and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lower Light LLC.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account, make purchases, or use our paid services. Teens aged 12-18 may participate in the Bridge Assessment with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian is responsible for initiating the assessment and providing consent on behalf of the teen participant.
Lower Light provides the following products and services:
A free 18-question assessment that identifies your family's primary response pattern. Upon completion, you receive your response pattern type and a detailed overview explaining why you are stuck and what drives the cycle.
A comprehensive toolkit that provides full access to your family's response pattern resources. Includes all 5 connection scripts, a 72-hour connection plan, the Stabilize First and After the Pause guides, a 7-day interactive practice system, and peer insight library.
A structured learning program with five guided modules covering disconnection patterns, de-escalation techniques, repair strategies, communication scripts, and when to seek additional support. Progress is saved and accessible from your dashboard.
A dual-perspective assessment where both parent and teen complete independent surveys. Results reveal the top 6 focus areas for your family, along with tailored scripts and strategies. Teens control their sharing preferences to ensure honesty and trust. Unlimited retakes are included with your purchase at no additional cost.
Flexible coaching session packs (3, 6, or 10 sessions) providing personalized 1:1 coaching with Mark. Each session is 50 minutes via Zoom and includes session recordings and between-session support. Pack pricing varies; see the coaching page for current rates.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe and charged in US Dollars (USD). By making a purchase, you agree to pay the listed price for the selected service.

All content, materials, tools, assessments, reports, scripts, worksheets, branding, and intellectual property available through Lower Light are owned by Lower Light LLC and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use purchased materials for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any Lower Light content without prior written permission.

Lower Light provides educational coaching and conflict resolution tools. Our services are not therapy, counseling, medical advice, or mental health treatment. Mark Nwokedi is a family coach, not a licensed therapist or mental health professional.
Our products and coaching are designed to help families identify response patterns and develop healthier communication strategies. They are not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care.

Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Lower Light LLC does not guarantee specific outcomes or results from the use of our products or coaching services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lower Light LLC, its owner, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting hello@lower-light.com. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve any concern within 30 days.
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be conducted in the state in which Lower Light LLC is registered, and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.
Both parties waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Lower Light LLC is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
